I’m paddling for my hubby- Chris ‘Critter’ Williams
This is year 4 of paddling in honor of my sweet husband Chris in the Charleston Dragon Boat Festival. When Chris passed away, Boeing asked if they could name a boat after him and if I would join them in celebrating his fight. As a result, I’ve met countless people that were affected by Chris both indirectly and directly. His oncology nurses were rowing in the race last year and spoke so highly of his positivity and zest for life during the darkest time. His coworkers and friends/family join in his boat and you can feel the loss and love while rowing.
This race is a celebration and memorial to the fighters like Chris. We honor him during this special event. Please join me in raising money for the dragon boat club helping people battle cancer and row towards healing and peace.

This is year 4 of paddling in honor of my sweet husband Chris in the Charleston Dragon Boat Festival. When Chris passed away, Boeing asked if they could name a boat after him and if I would join them in celebrating his fight.
