I wish cancer didn’t exist. As the child of two parents who have been diagnosed with cancer, finding a cure and supporting those who fight for their lives is very important to me. I lost my dad 10 years ago to lung cancer. Of course losing a parent changes your world but being 23, it really shook up everything. It’s a loss I feel every day. Last year my mom was diagnosed with breast cancer. Fortunately after a lumpectomy and radiation, she is now currently cancer free! I wish that for anyone who gets the scary diagnosis of cancer.
