I’ve decided to take the sea-nic route this year. I’m paddling with the Puddle Pirates to raise money for Dragon Boat Charleston. If you aren't familiar with DBC, they provide year-round physical and mental health programs for local cancer survivors, completely free of charge.
I’m naut even kidding when I say this is a world-class cause. My goal is to raise enough money to keep these programs running and maybe buy myself some "pier" pressure insurance for when my arms give out halfway through the race.
