This year marks my fourth year rowing in the Dragon Boat event, and I am once again raising funds for a cause that is deeply personal to me. I have lost both of my parents to cancer, and rowing allows me to honor their memory while supporting others who are currently facing this disease.
I am fundraising for an organization that provides critical support services to cancer survivors and their families, including meal trains, travel assistance, and practical help during treatment and recovery. These services ease daily burdens during an incredibly overwhelming time and allow families to focus on healing.
Cancer affects everyone in some way. Whether you have faced it personally or supported a loved one, you understand how meaningful support can be. Dragon Boat racing represents strength, resilience, and teamwork, values that mirror the cancer journey.
